Origins
Primordial Architects: Eternum predates the First Convergence, formed from anti-matter and dark matter, it has always been present, however the Apocalypse of Vignone caused such a disruption and distortion throughout all reality that Eternum was mutated into The Voidborn.
Motivations
Order Through Control: Eternum genuinely believes they are the universe's only hope for survival. Their actions are not driven by malice but by a warped sense of duty. They see themselves as cosmic parents correcting their "children" for the greater good. They argue, "Without us, there would be only chaos. We were the first. We must be the last."
Methods
The Conduit Network: Eternum operates through a network of conduits—beings implanted with fragments of their essence, scattered across the Mungo system. These conduits are unaware of their true nature until activated.
Manipulation and Subterfuge: Eternum manipulates events subtly—fueling the Zarephines and Tagars’ conflict, whispering to power-hungry elites, and encouraging technological advancements that align with their grand design.
Ties to the Present
Infiltration of Power Structures: Eternum has infiltrated key organizations, including the Nexus Spire, influencing policies and decisions to shape the galaxy’s future.
Manifestation
The Eternal Core: Eternum is not a single being but a collective consciousness residing in the Eternal Core—a hidden realm beyond the known dimensions. Their physical manifestations are ephemeral, appearing as spectral figures or ancient holograms.
The Voices: Eternum speaks in a chorus of voices from countless ages, embodying the wisdom and madness of all its absorbed knowledge.
